Wellness | New Year Preparation - Head into the New Year with a new glow

The holiday’s had us gleaming with abundance and gratitude and with the New Year just around the corner, we have a moisturiser that will have you glowing all the way into 2019.

This cost effective, sustainable DIY body butter is a great way to save money this year and ensure you’re treating your skin with the TLC we all want and need. 60% of what we put on our body is absorbed into our bloodstream, so lets throw out the harsh chemicals and parabens and only nurture our skin with wholesome natural products.

These four main ingredients are natural, raw and unrefined, packing this simple recipe full of nutrients and minerals. Shea Butter is anti-aging and filled with Vitamin E. Cocoa Butter helps retain elasticity in your skin, while preventing and fading out any pre-existing stretch marks you may have (and we all have ‘em!). Coconut oil traps in moisture, is anti-inflammatory and holds anti-bacterial agents. Almond oil is packed with nutrients and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and smelling yummy.

Note: If you don’t love the smell of Cocoa Butter (it has a strong chocolaty smell) you can always double up on Shea Butter or use Avocado or Mango Butter.

  2. ¼ Unrefined Cocoa Butter
