We cannot see, hear or touch resistance, but we know it is there because it's something that can be felt. Resistance shows up in many forms; physically, mentally and emotionally. Once we identify it, we can work towards releasing it and move closer to a life that feels free.
Welcome
This is a four week online breathwork course. Through journaling, mantras and breathwork, we will explore areas of resistance such as letting go, self-love, fear and rejection. I believe that what we call resistance is the way the world and our entire experience teach us where we are stuck. Resistance is meant to wake us up and show us where we need healing and are asleep in life. Resistance can begin as something that is energetic or non physical like a belief, and manifest into physical form like illness or pain when it is not healed. My hope is that you trust in resistance and let it move you forward in life. Everything that happens to us and around us is part of our path.
What is Breakwork
Breathwork is a form of energy healing. It is an active meditation used to shift stuck energy around the chakras or pressure in the body. It is a natural healing technique that helps you heal yourself by tapping into the layers of your being and works to push out anything that is causing resistance in the mind, body and spirit. When our chakras are closed, we weaken the connection to our intuition, spirit and physical body. The breath works to release deep stored emotions such as fear, sadness and anger while opening the mind, body and heart. Part of healing is investigating our attitudes, memories and beliefs with a desire to let go of negative patterns that prevent our emotional and spiritual recovery. Breathwork has the power to change habits, ways of thinking and traumas. It creates space for more creativity, love, light and joy in our life. It connects us to our intuition, truth and highest potential.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who is ready to journey into self-healing. It is especially for those who want to do the work and gain a deeper understanding of their emotions, self, why resistance shows up and how it affects our lives. We will never become fully whole, healed or transformed unless we are willing to acknowledge the parts of ourselves that are buried in our unconsciousness.
What can I expect to experience?
Breathwork is a powerful experience that cleanses the emotional body. The first 5-7 minutes is the most challenging because the mind always wants to attach and has a hard time letting go. Once the mind begins to let go magic begins to happen. You almost feel as though you are asleep, but this is when the breath is helping you access

a non-ordinary state of consciousness. Breathwork can bring up intense emotions and physical sensations. The experience is peaceful but it is also work and is not meant to completely relax you. You are working to release deep rooted emotions, patterns and beliefs out of the body. You may experience waves of color and will leave feeling lighter and renewed, even experiencing a feeling of being “high” on energy, light and love.
What’s included in the course?
In this course, you will receive four audio recordings. The work is split up into four weeks. I suggest listening to one audio recording per week, so you can sit with the questions to think about each week and practice the mantras recommended daily. Depending on your session, if you release a lot of emotions it may be too much to do a recording per day which is why I suggest spacing it out over a week. You can use the breath daily and do a small session of 5-10 minutes. This will be enough to clear your mind, give you energy and a peaceful reset especially for those who struggle with anxiety.
